INTERNSHIP FUNDS

Hobart and William Smith Colleges understand that sometimes students face difficult decisions when having to choose between a paying job that is not career related and an unpaid internship that would really make their resume shine. Recognizing that this could mean missed opportunities for our students, generous alums have come forward to endow internship funds that award annual stipends to our students.

Each fund has its own criteria, so please read carefully to see if you qualify. Students are welcome to apply to more than one fund as long as qualifications are met. Many of the funds use the same general application form, and there is no reason to send in multiple copies of the same general form. Students will only be granted a stipend from one fund in any given funding cycle. These funds are open to all returning students regardless of major and class year.

Hobart and William Smith Colleges do not exclude anyone from participating in, deny anyone the benefits of, or subject anyone to discrimination or harassment in any program or activity based on race, color, religion, marital status, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, political affiliation or sexual orientation.
