You should be getting The Pulteney St. Survey three times a year in the mail and the alumni/ae newsletter, Hill & Quad, monthly by e-mail as well as regional event invitations such as happy hours and holiday parties through both mail and online pieces.

Favorite place on campus: The Pub – great place to grab a sandwich and finish up a chapter or two for class.
Favorite on campus personality (coach, professor etc): Professor Patterson – his energy on campus and in class was contagious.
What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of HWS? Playing tennis all four years and all the fun I had with my teammates.
How do you stay connected to HWS? HWS Club of NYC- keeping in touch with HWS alums in the city and I work with 3 other Hobart alums.
Fast forward to 2018… how do you picture HWS: I think Hobart and William Smith Colleges will continue to grow more and more organically. I think in ten years the school might have a larger population, but the classic attributes of the school (i.e. the lake, the quad, athletic fields, the history, and the school's academic reputation) will continue to remain as the strong foundation of the school.
Describe HWS in 3 words: Experience of a lifetime (whoops that is 4!)
1. Write a hand-written thank you note to a professor or staff member who has made a difference in your life.
2. Come back and visit campus. There have been numerous changes over the past several years.
3. Reconnect with your past roommate(s). You’ll be thankful you did.
4. Cheer on the Herons and Statesmen. Don’t forget to show off that green, orange, and purple!
5. Attend Reunion.
6. Attend a young alumni/alumnae event in your area.
7. Refer high school students to HWS.
8. Call career services to inquire about young alum opportunities.
9. Update your contact information and submit class notes. We want to know what’s going on in your life.
10. Make a meaningful gift to the Colleges each year. Your support does matter.
