Homecoming and Family Weekend 2011

Mark your calendars for Homecoming and Family Weekend, October 21-23, 2011. Join alumni, alumnae, parents and students on campus for a great Hobart and William Smith fall celebration.

Highlights of the weekend include

  • Celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Hobart and William Smith's 1961 undefeated run on the popular "G.E. College Bowl" TV show,
  • Mini-college class sessions with faculty,
  • Come one, come all to the "Barnburner" tailgate lunch,
  • Fall Nationals, including the soapbox derby on Winn-Seeley Hill,
  • Hobart football vs. the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy,
  • William Smith soccer vs. Union College
  • Heron Invitational: Heron and Statesmen cross-country at Seneca Lake State Park
  • Fraternity open houses
  • Saturday night CABaret goes pink!

The 2011 Homecoming and Family Weekend brochure is available online now, and you can register for the Weekend online.

A full and final schedule will be available when you arrive on campus for registration.

For your convenience, follow this link to a list of area hotels and B&Bs. Please contact them directly to make reservations, understanding that they may be booked. However, rooms may become available due to cancellations. It's worth getting on a waiting list if the hotel offers one.
