You voted, and AAC was proud to welcome David Diana (Office of Alcohol and Other Drug Programs), Beth Pier (Institutional Advancement), John Reese (Institutional Advancement) and Deb Steward (William Smith Athletics) to our committee for a two-year term, beginning in June 2008. We were also happy to welcome Kelly McLaughlin (IT Services) and Maggie Gladden (Library) earlier this summer after the departure of Joe Ambrosetti (Career Services) and Jean Warren (William Smith Deans Office).
On Tuesday, September 23, AAC will welcome recently hired employees during the first ever New Employee Orientation. Following a meet and greet event in the library atrium, new employees will enjoy a tour of campus and the local area, including stops at Houghton House Estate and the Geneva Post Office. Immediately following their tour, new employees will have an opportunity to meet other HWS staff members during the first AAC Luncheon of the semester. Make sure you're there to welcome them at noon in the Common Room!
Interested in serving on AAC? We'll hold elections next spring, but until then, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. AAC has subcommittees working on various campus issues, including childcare, communications, flex time and staff recognition. If you'd like to be involved with any of these initiatives, please let us know! You don't have to be a full AAC member to make an important contribution!
Arrivals and departures reflect those between March 1 and Sept. 1, 2008.
