The Campus of Hobart and William Smith Colleges offers the ideal picturesque setting for the successful conference. By blending a classic ambiance with modern social comforts, the Colleges provide the perfect environment for an exchange of ideas.
Located beside beautiful Seneca Lake in Geneva, New York, the Campus Conference Center offers a refreshing learning experience, combining cultural and recreational activities in surroundings rich in early American History.
The Colleges' Conference Center provides an experienced staff whose constant attention to detail will assist you in planning your program. Staff members will work with you from your initial contact with the Colleges through completion of the conference. Offering a wide range of support services, conference personnel will coordinate your meeting, dining, and social schedules, providing an efficient use of facilities.
Every phase of planning is designed to meet your budget and scheduling requirements. A complete analysis by our staff, based on specific financial considerations, provides an accurate framework for building successful program. Personal attention will be given to each aspect of your conference, including selection of audio/visual equipment, menus, residential facilities, and entertainment/recreation choices.
Lecture and seminar spaces are also available for workshops and small group programming.
Hobart Jazz Legend Bob Masteller '60 will delight the ears of his audience with a weekend concert series at Houghton House on the grounds of Hobart and William Smith Colleges.
A life-long jazz enthusiast, Masteller began playing jazz in his father's band at the age of 12 and led a series of jazz groups on campus during the late 1950s. He leads his own groups in clubs throughout the "low country" of South Carolina and Georgia and is a co-owner of The Jazz Corner, a club in Hilton Head, S.C. Masteller has performed for Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton, Vice President Al Gore and South Carolina Sen. Fritz Hollings.
