Hobart and William Smith Colleges are very excited to announce our NEWEST addition to our summer camps, Kinder Camp for Grades 1 and 2! We have answered the community's request for a camp geared to the youngest campers in the area by offering a fun-filled, academically based summer program for campers entering grades 1 and 2. Students will have the opportunity to choose different programs throughout the summer and will be provided with fun, hands-on experiences to expand and enhance their inner self.

Artastic Art Week
We’re getting crazy creative this week as we dive into all things art. Dress for mess as we will be painting with our hands, brushes, flyswatters and more. We’ll be meeting some local artists and creating a group project on a LARGE scale. On Friday, we will visit Corning Museum of Glass where we will make our own glass project.

H2 – Oh!!
Caution it’s Slippery When Wet week at Kindercamp!! That’s right this week it’s “water, water everywhere, but none of it to drink”… We’ll throw it, slide on it, and play in it as we have water gun fights, woosh down water slides and play a wet game of Human Battleship. We’ll wind up our week cooling off at Roseland Waterpark!!

Castles and Dragons Week
“Here Ye, Here Ye” - Calling all knights and princesses it’s Medieval Times Week at Kindercamp. We’re going back to the time of Merlin and moats as we build our own life size castle, learn about jousting, castle life and more…we might even meet a real life Knight in Shining Armor!! Our field trip will be to Taughannock Falls
July 19 – July 23
Space – The Final Frontier
We are boldly going where no camp has gone before this week as we explore the universe at Kindercamp. We will build and launch our own rockets, check out the stars, planets and more plus - maybe even greet some aliens. We will go to THE MOST in Syracuse.
July 26 – July 30
Wild, Wild West Week
“Yeee Haww !!” We’re rassling up some western fun this week at Kindercamp. We’ll learn about Native Americans and Western Cowboys, pan for gold, try out tons of Wild West activities at the Rockwell Museum of Western Art in Corning.
August 2 – August 6
Just Desserts Week
Do you have a sweet tooth? Then this is the week for you!! We’ll be creating candy art, and tasting yummy treats as we prepare for our end of camp Talent Show and Celebration!
