JEWISH LIFE

At Hobart and William Smith, Jewish life is a community of people and places on campus connecting and gathering because of a Jewish interest or identity. From Holocaust Remembrance Week's awe-inspiring speakers filling campus lecture halls to Casual Shabbat's falafel dinner's filling the Abbe Center for Jewish Life, the Colleges offer an entire range of events and classes related to Judaism and Judaic studies. Students are also invited to join the campus Hillel Chapter or attend services and become involved in the congregation at Temple Beth-El on campus.

Whether it's sharing a Rosh Hashanah service with members of the HWS and Geneva community or sharing a conversation with a professor about Judaism, Jewish Life at HWS is multifaceted and ever-growing.
